he Palmetto Resort has been listed in our book for years. The “Beach” part is a new addition this year on the other side of Selimiye bay. The building is not particularly interesting. Like Selimiye itself, it is somewhat ecclectic. The rooms are plain and functional. What makes it attractive is the seaside location. In fact, it is directly on a small sandy beach... Compared to the other resorts, this one is more laid back, perhaps a bit less polished or more “a la turka”. Prices are also lower. We include it here because of the excellent service offered at its sister resort. A hotel designed with young families in mind, same bay, same successful management, but at a lower price... What is there not to like?

Deniz çok güzel.
En önemli eksiği, öğlen sıcağında çocukların vakit geçirebilmesini sağlayacak aktivite bulmakta zorlanılması. Çocuk havuzu hiç kullanışlı değil, pek gerek de yok gibi, oranın yerine gölgelikli bir çocuk park benzeri birşey yapılabilir belki...
Oda fiyatları biraz daha makul olsa daha da iyi olacak gibi...
