aving travelled to the ends of the world, Mehmet Günel has learnt the first lesson of travelling, and that is: avoid baggage! Oyster Residence is a masterpiece of simplicity. It enchants with its intelligent modesty as much as its unforgettably dramatic location.
It is located at the end of the world. There is no sign to mark its whereabouts: you drive a terrifying rut down the great cliff of Faralya to reach the bottom of the rock, where a nice garden lies perfectly isolated at the edge of the sea. The setting is pure Mediterranean - limestone rock, lavender bush, crooked pines and centuries-old olive trees. The six modest cabins offer all the comforts that count: a canopied bed, sometimes a second bed in the terrace in case you want to sleep outside, sheets of the whitest linen, fresh flowers on the table, plenty of wood for the fireplace. A wood-burning samovar supplies fresh tea all day long.

I traveled to the most beautiful places in the World (Seychelles. Sri Lanka, Madagascar, just to name a few), But there is no match for this secluded, magnificient place on the Mediterranean coast.
