his is a wonderful place, very different from the 5-star hotels that line the coast. Set 800 m. above sea level, it is reached through a pretty forest road. The building is unpretentious and attractive, surrounded by pines and cedars. The hospitable owners, a lawyer and an architect, built the lodge themselves and included a large pool. The outside of the house is rustic, the interior warm and stylish. A large fireplace and an open plan kitchen create a cosy atmosphere, and the rooms are huge. You don't even have to get out of bed to enjoy the magnificent view over the Olympos area. The antique city of Phaselis is a 10 min. drive away. The walking trails of the Lykian Way, totalling 500 km., are also within easy reach.
