retired banker and his wife fulfilled a lifelong dream when they opened this friendly hotel. From the outside, it is a typical Alacati house, painted light blue, with the traditional alcove and a welcome swimming pool. In the course of their travels, the owners collected bits and pieces to make the interior warm and interesting: old wooden doors from Konya and traditional Black Sea ovens, put to good use to produce delicious cookies and böreks. Ornate balustrades lend the place a mountain lodge atmosphere and the four-poster beds are inviting. You get fresh flowers every morning. The rich breakfast is of course enjoyed in the garden. Two things here that you won’t find elsewhere: the owner will generously share his passions and teach you to play bridge and to paint.
