nly 40 min. away from downtown Istanbul, but a world apart, this retreat, deep in the woods, was dreamed up by the Dursun family. The timber cabins were carefully designed to blend in with their surroundings. The five rooms are small and simple, but well equipped for all weather conditions. The spacious restaurant, built around a central fireplace, has a wonderfully warm atmosphere. Make sure you call first: Kalindağ only opens upon demand. If you prefer to rough it, there is the option of pitching a tent on the camp ground. Hiking trails criss-cross the forest and rocks suitable for climbing can be found only a short distance away. Those who must see water will find a lake and a river nearby and the Black Sea is only 6 km. away.

Küçük bir cennet. Harika mis gibi bir hava. Ve sahipleri ve çalışanlarıyla sıcacık, tertemiz bir yer. Hayatımda yediğim en lezzetli et yemeği ve o minik, bilye kadar, muhteşem tarçınlı kurabiyeler. Dışarıda yağan yağmur ve şöminedeki o eşşiz çıtırtılar. Orman ve yağmur ve derin bir huzur. Bir yanım hep beni oraya çağırıyor. Ne güzelsiniz.
