A
newcomer to the Bozcaada hotel scene ' an old Greek house converted fashionably into a set of rather tiny themed rooms by an owner who made his money from a textile business in İstanbul.
The decor is trendy in the extreme. Ashwood floorboards, plasma televisions, copious cushions and super-smart bathrooms with abundant toiletries show off the designer's touch which is also apparent in a white-raftered breakfast room with low-hanging lights suspended over the table. There's not much space to swing a cat in (no garden, for example) but to compensate you get a real sense of living right in the heart of beautiful Bozcaada Town.
All the attractions - the Castle, the harbour, the wineries - are on the doorstep. The best beaches are a dolmuş ride to the west. There's no hotel restaurant but a couple of cute tavernas are a short walk away.
