T
his 150 year-old village house once belonged to a man who worked at the Ottoman bank in Istanbul, during the dying days of the Ottoman empire. His old residence was fixed up by an association committed to the protection of Turkey’s cultural and natural heritage, which chose to preserve its architectural characteristics rather than renovate it from top to bottom. The artefacts of rural life scattered around the place were not selected by a trendy decorator in search of authenticity. They are there for a reason. The wool-carding machine and the weaving loom are still in use. The guesthouse is run in line with ecotourism guidelines. Wool was of course used to stuff the mattresses and pillows. The food is organic and mostly grown in the garden.

Sadece yemeklerde kalorilere biraz dikkat. :-)
