his well-positioned hotel in pretty Ayvalık boasts no great architectural feature, but the cheerful personality of its spirited owner, a retired teacher from Ankara, makes it a special place. The rooms at the front are quite spacious and overlook the Aegean and Cunda island. Those at the back are more modest in size. The decor is more house than a hotel. The lush garden is another attractive feature that defines this guesthouse: climbing plants shade the balconies and threaten to conquer the house; flowers run wild. A new terrace floor provides a perfect vantage point to enjoy the sunset. The breakfast, a spectacular and tasty display of fine cheeses, olives and home-made jams, is in keeping with the owner's generous nature.

sehir kalabalığını gürültüsünü sevmeyenler için ideal,tatilimizin son durağıydı,tatilin tatili gibi bir konaklama oldu.Daha önce kaldığım yerlerde kahvaltı şöyle masamda olsada kalk gel ,bekle derdi olmasayı sanki duymuşlar gibi kahvaltıya iner inmez masamız donandı,hersey bol bol olduğu halde tekrar istemenizde hemen geliyor,oğlumuz brownilere fena takıldı... ilk gece yorgun olduğumuz için otelde yedik,yemekler lezzetli olduğu kadarda hesaplı.Meliha Hn a gelince,her konuda yardımcı olan ,ticari kaygısı olmayan bir hanımefendi,özlem ablası ve ördek yavruları oğlumuz Benji’den heralde yorulmuşlardır,yavrular ilgiden özlem ablası bitmek bilmeyen soru ve isteklerden.Çok huzur verici ve dinlendirici bir ortam,sarımsaklıya ve ayvalık merkeze çok yakın ama biz bir kere gittik ,geri geldiğimizde oh dedik.
