From its tasteful architecture to its idyllic location overlooking Datça harbour, it richly deserves to be included in this book. The rooms have Ottoman motifs painted on the walls, old-fashioned lace curtains and authentic objects from a past period. Owners Ferda and Mehmet, urban and sophisticated, came here for a holiday and never left. Their generous nature is also reflected in the fine home meals they cook for their guests. Beyond Datça-town, the peninsula remains one of the most spectacular corners of the Turkish Riviera, offering endless opportunities for exploration on foot or by boat.
