A
t the far end of Akyaka, set in a peaceful forested cove, this hotel is ideal for families with small children. The modern building may not offer much architecturally, but the rooms are airy and the overall atmosphere very cosy. A small stream runs through the garden. You may even see ducks and geese. The hotel has a swimming pool, its own small pier and direct access to the sea in one of the most untouched parts of the Gulf of Gökova. The place is wonderfully quiet. No loud music here. The only noise you are likely to hear is the tinny sound of a slightly off-tune piano when guests feel inspired. The friendly host, Osman Bey, makes sure there is always something sweet and tasty on offer at tea time. Fresh fish and succulent meze dominate the alacarte menu.
