T
his modern hotel is located in a new neighbourhood just outside the centre of Alaçatı. The hotel, well-designed and run by a friendly couple from Izmir, feels slightly suburban. It can be described as a successful example of the 'New Aegean' style. The garden is walled and secluded, the lawn freshly mown and the pool, surrounded by wicker furniture, is inviting. The glass-fronted common areas make the garden appear an extension of the house itself. Special care has been taken in the decoration of the rooms, which are spacious, light and comfortably furnished. Colourful mosaic tiles provide a touch of style and warmth. The breakfast on offer here is particularly rich. It includes a tasty scrambled egg-and-tomato concoction known locally as menemen, which is well worth a try.
