f you want to stay in Beyoğlu, you won’t find a cosier and more attractive place than this one. For a start, its location is perfect: close to the famous Pera Palace and a stone’s throw from Istiklal Street where it all happens. The building, which has retained its original name, is a typical elegant house of old Pera. It’s been beautifully renovated without losing any of its cachet. You enter the hotel through one of the best Italian restaurants in town, Da Vittorio (make sure to taste the Porcini Risotto on your way through). Strong colours have been used in the very hip suites, which vary in size between 50 and 80 square meters. Each suite boasts a kitchenette and a small sitting area. The most spectacular is the attic suite, which offers a bird’s view of Istanbul and half the Bosphorus.
