T
he Sailors in Alaçatı’s main square was one of the hotels that made Alaçatı the lively resort it is today. Sailors has now acquired a young and beautiful sister, located between the market square and the main street. The house was only built a couple of years ago, but the right proportions and the right details give it a much older feel. Using old-style tiles in the garden, for instance, was a brilliant idea. The rooms are white and blue, with nice creative touches that gives them that extra warmth. Sea accessories are everywhere. The atmosphere created is informal Aegean chic. Sitting under the pergola in the garden is a pleasure. The owner, Mrs Nilüfer is a sociable and pleasant host. Breakfast is generous.
