ntil last year, this retreat at the southern end of Bozcaada island offered the ultimate luxury of the 21st century: the absence of telephone and electricity! Then the owners, a marine biologist and his wife, an Italian philologist, took a crazy decision: they invested and built a luxury 15-room hotel. The rooms have huge terraces overlooking the sea, fancy Jacuzzis, hardwood floors and mosaic tiles. And of course, electricity. Is it beautiful' Undoubtedly. The cove, called Aquarium Bay for its limpid waters, is still rich in marine life, it is still remote, and the owners are just as friendly.
