DA BACCHUS stands alone in the landscape as if without rival. It is built onto a gentle hill in a sequence of terraces.
First you meet with two rather sweet golden retrievers. And then roses, and then grape vines. Everywhere is very clean and tidy with not so much as a stray leaf on the ground.
Each room has a balcony, and if you stand and look out, you will see first the lovely garden, then the pool, then the vineyard (hopefully yielding some fine quality bottles) and in the distance the bay of Ayazma.
The rooms are quite large and pleasant. The staff do the best they can, but the hotel lacks a charismatic manager or owner to provide the really personal touch.
