ODA, centrally located at the heart of the old Greek quarter of the beautiful Turkish island Bozcaada (Tenedos), is as picture-perfect as a film set.
Kosta, the owner, inherited this property from his grandfather and transformed it with the help of a young architect, Defne. He is the only young Greek on Bozcaada, but his family has lived on the island for seven generations.
Kosta knew exactly how he wanted to decorate his hotel: he opted for a minimalist style and off-white tones for the walls, curtains and beds. This unity of colour, enlivened with a few choice objects, creates a restful and clean ambiance.
The hotel is centrally located at the heart of the old Greek quarter, which is as picture-perfect as a film set.
Breakfast is served in a small inner courtyard at the back, which will be even more pleasant once vegetation grows.
Don’t forget to taste the tomato jam: Kosta’s family has been producing it for two generations and is selling it throughout the country.
